What inspires me !!
I am inspired by the many unknown people
who make a huge difference in poor communities
all over the world. They do not do it for
any reward but they have a passion that is
driven by their understanding of their place
in society. Some of them are popular, some
are not. The late Princess Diana was such
a good person. She was committed to helping
people. I have also met unknown people who
work in slums, refugee camps, with the disabled,
with street kids and with many other disadvantaged.

Welcome to the Libra art website, featuring the
original, fine art oil paintings, sketches,
drawings and artwork produced by myself....
Hi, my name is Naseem Gul and this is a profile about ME!!!
Well u knows that my name is Naseem Gul.
I love to painting and I hope that I complete
my dream. Art is one of my best friends.
My paintings are with oil color, color pencil,
water color, acrylic, and pastel. I don’t
like to paint just in one way. Modern and
realism is same. Both of them are beautiful.
Just believing the art is important. I had
deep interest in arts, particularly paintings
and drawings during my school days....But
eventually I could not give proper time to
nurture my skills. Some time, I give the
shape of my thinking in words... But still
I love painting...Hope some day will make
it...My passion and inspiration for painting
is derived from places I visit regularly;
landscapes; coastal scenery and dramatic
skies. My work can also be viewed on www.libra.350.com Painting is not just a form of expression,
but also of communication. My goal is to
show the beauty, irony and truth of the world
through. To contact artist, send e-mail to yousafzai75@yahoo.com Thank you for viewing.

The artist begins to call attention to a composition
through the use of shape, line, and color.
One of these interwoven elements usually
predominates, supplemented by the other two.
Added to this must be the qualities of rhythm, repetition
and variation, emphasis, balance, and proportion.
The artist learns to see and use interesting shape, to use line expressively,
and to select color that will have the intended
emotional impact. The artist then assimilates this knowledge
for easy access when needed. The secret is to know design rules, but to know when
rules can be relaxed or broken.

Artist Statement
Drawing is a great way to learn
to "see." But, seeing is not an end
in itself, but a means to another end
that of expression. To achieve a likeness,
correct proportions, proper perspective,
etc. is the beginning of art- making.
By learning to see the objective
world, we can then transfer
our newfound visual skills
to create our artwork
to see its "formal" values - composition,
color relationships, spatial properties, etc.
And ultimately, we use our new visual skills to
see the inner world, the world of ideas, feelings, etc.

To translate inner vision into visual form,
the artist must balance spontaneity with
the continuous evaluation and refinement
of composition. You constantly lean in the
process, for you become your own best instructor.
If your initial work is done by improvising,
one of your most difficult tasks is describing
the process, sharing the inner workings of
your mind. The creative absorption of information
leads to developing new perspectives, opening
the boundaries of perception, & reorganizing
approaches to pictorial presentation.

Most of my painting is now done in the studio,
but I spend much time observing and absorbing
the world around me. My daily walks, my Association
with other people, the visiting museums and
time for daily Contemplation all contribute
to visual Intellectual and emotional enrichment.
An artist cannot work in a vacuum and must
lean to be sensitive to the shapes Patterns
and moods of nature as well As to the general
experiences of life. The bustle of the city
provides Inspiration for some artists if
they have learned to look closely at what
is there before the eyes or deep within the
heart.
